GQEP Assists the Council for the Welfare of Children

GQEP facilitated the workshop of the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) in the preparation of the CWC Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP), as part of the e-government imperatives.
Engr. Basaen of GQEP, who was once consultant to the CWC in the 90s for the preparation of Child 21 or the Philippine Development Plan for Children, paved the way for GQEP's sister company, Informatics College Diliman, to help CWC in developing its ISSP. The link led to the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between the CWC and Informatics College Diliman for the deployment of BSIT and BSCS students to CWC under the Informatics On-the -Job training (OJT) program. The OJT students shall work in the Management Information Systems unit of the CWC particularly to assist in the completion of the ISSP, serve as "help desk" for all CWC personnel, develop and maintain the CWC website and improve the existing database and project information systems of CWC. |
